This is an attractive “chunky” woodchip made from English Hardwoods.  It is highly suitable for recreational areas and garden borders where generous use will substantially reduce weed invasion whilst aiding water retention.  Its effectiveness as a weed suppressant can be improved even further by combining it with a weed control fabric.  As this is a very clean chip it is particularly appropriate for pathways and children’s play areas.  This product has been tested by BSI and complies with the requirements of:- BS EN1177:1998 Impact Absorbing Playground Surfacing.
