At our Smallfield site we dry sand using a natural gas to ensure an uncontaminated product.
Silver Sand is our standard dried sand, but we are also able to screen and dry specialist sands to order. Please call us for more details.
Sand Blasting According to the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health regulations 2002, sand and other substances containing free crystalline silica cannot be used as an abrasive for blasting articles in any blasting apparatus. Please note that this applies to Silver Sand.
We are able to supply lined Bulk Bags to ensure dried products stay dry. These bags have a strong, black plastic liner which offers the materials inside additional protection from the elements. |

Kiln dried (therefore sterile) lime and salt free sand which has excellent drainage qualities. Can also be used as a pest repellent around bulbs and is very effective at controlling moss. When used on lawns and fine turf areas, this sand will improve drainage dramatically.
